Successful appearance at the PCD in Paris: innovations in color and laser marking

Paris Packaging Week is always something very special for us, because the Paris trade fair is all about elegance, luxury products and, of course, packaging.
The Finke showcases were filled with our most beautiful color samples and most interesting innovations. The impressive designs of the FIBAFEKT range and the brightly colored PET bottles can be seen from afar.

Laser marking for aesthetic designs and safety-relevant elements

Our laser-marked and specialized exhibits are particularly popular. Laser marking technology offers unlimited design possibilities and also provides key security features such as anti-counterfeiting and durability of the marking.
As an alternative to labels and sleeves, laser marking enables manufacturers to save costs and improve the recyclability of their products. Saving CO2 and acting sustainably are also one of the industry’s main topics this year.

FIBATEC UVA as effective protection against harmful UV radiation

An important issue, especially for manufacturers in the cosmetics and food sector, is the protection of sensitive products. Products in transparent packaging may be exposed to harmful UV light and can change their color or odor or lose their effect as a result.
Key Account Manager Philippe Bouton explains to interested visitors from a cosmetics manufacturer how our FIBATEC UVA filling protection product helps to prevent vitamin A in face creams, for example, from degrading: “The UV absorbers it contains prevent high-energy UV radiation from destroying the molecular structure of important ingredients. As a result, vitamin A lasts up to 30 times longer than in packaging without UV protection.”
