In the electrical and electronics industry, aesthetically pleasing plastics that meet stringent safety standards are of crucial importance.

With our FIBAPLAST UL94 series, we offer certified masterbatches with proven fire protection for these applications.

The UL94 test is an internationally recognized standard that evaluates the flammability and fire behavior of plastics. The test is transferable, which means that further certification for the final product is not required when our FIBAPLAST UL94 is combined with a certified polymer.

The color and effect masterbatches as well as technical masterbatches of the FIBAPLAST UL94 range, which have the UL94 HB classification, are now also available with an all-color certification.

By using an all-color certified masterbatch in combination with a certified polymer, you can react flexibly to color and component changes without having to recertify. The only restrictions are the specified maximum concentration of the components in the final product and the approved minimum wall thickness. Even a change of base polymer is possible, as long as the new polymer is also certified and belongs to the same polymer class.

We thus offer you solutions that can be implemented quickly, even in the event of supply bottlenecks, new regulations and product changes, while maintaining the highest safety standards.

All-Color-Certifications HB for the polymers PP, POM, PBT, ABS, PARA and PA6GF are already available in almost every imaginable color.

For more demanding applications requiring a higher fire protection class, we also offer the option of individual certification of masterbatches.
